It’s what sets Jack Stack-and now Fiorella’s-apart, says Cameron. The family-owned operation’s commitment to remarkable hospitality over the past 60 years has been pivotal to the growth of its brand. Yet the menu is just one element of watching an event come together the way someone dreams it. “With Fiorella’s, we get an incredible opportunity to lean into our ability to produce fresh, craveable food ranging from traditional American cuisine to Latin, Indian, Italian and everything in between,” says Chris. “Most people don’t know this, but Jack Stack has been catering non-barbecue events for many years now,” Chris says, referring to the company’s catering business, which will now be hosted in the new facility. In the culinary space, Fiorella’s will leverage Culinary Director Chris Hall’s passion for fine dining and banquets to create custom menus. “From a design style perspective we’ve created a rustic yet modern feel that serves as a blank canvas,” says Cameron Baraban, marketing team member at Jack Stack Barbecue. With the ability to serve between 20 and 1,300 guests comfortably, it’s just as perfect for weddings, corporate events and concerts as it is for fundraisers, galas and more intimate get togethers with friends and family. And now the restaurant is accentuating that point with the opening of Fiorella’s, a new event venue and full-service catering experience in Overland Park.įeaturing a multi-million dollar renovation of the former Ritz Charles, the 18,000 square feet of space is made up of five salons that can be used separately for smaller gatherings, or together for large events.
